Undergraduate Programs

The baccalaureate program prepares students for beginning professional nursing practice. Students in the program are prepared to maintain and promote client adaptation in a variety of health care settings through theory and utilization of the nursing process. The aims and terminal objectives of BSN Program are available online.

There are two main Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program options:

Each of the baccalaureate program option has specific admissions criteria. Please check for the specific requirements for your program.  An online application is available for freshman admissions while the second degree admission is a paper application.

CUA works with world-class healthcare facilities in the Washington, D.C. area. 

An option for undergraduate nursing students is to earn a Spanish for Healthcare Certificate offered by the Department of Modern Languages. 

Clinical Requirements

Before starting clinicals, students must complete the school-wide and B.S.N. clinical requirements are available in the Student Guidelines.

In addition to fulfilling the clinical requirements, undergraduates must meet the annual math requirements
