 Dr. Isabelle DeBella

 Dr. Isabelle DeBella passed away on on April 4, 2017 at the age of 96. 

Dr. Isabella received her nursing diploma and earned her Bachelor's degree in nursing from The Catholic University of America in 1945.  With a Master's degree in baceriology form Georgetown University in 1954 she worked as a clinical instruction and assistant professor at Georgetown University fom 1947 to 1953. Dr. Debella served as a head nursing at the National Heart Institute at the National Institutes of Health from 1959 to 1961.  Dr. DeBella received her Ph.D in education from The Catholic University of America in 1973.

A memorial in Washington will be planned for a later time.
