Minutes

 

 

The meeting was called to order by President, Barbara Dominguez at 13:05.  Members present include: Jo Kim, Jane Cox, Barbara Dominguez, Leonora Milan, Sandra O’Brien, Sheri Morgan, Kate Keith, Josie Brenner, Elaine Williams, Deb Bernardi, Catherine Musumba, Mark Handy, Nkechi Ileka, Bisi Ayodele.

 

∙ No old business

∙ Sheri Morgan, Treasurer, reminded all Olivian Society members seeking reimbursement for Olivian Society related activities, to turn receipts for reimbursement.

 

∙ At the November 14^th meeting, all members who wish to participate in A Secret Santa exchange program of gifts up to $15, will draw names.  Gifts will be exchanged at the Christmas party, December, 9.

 

∙ Jane Cox presented her summer 2005 Sigma Theta Tau Poster Presentation: The Lived Experience and Satisfaction With Childbirth of 21^st Century Hispanic Floridian Women. 

 

∙ Olivian Society members participated in a pilot study of the values clarification workshop to be conducted at Holy Cross Hospital in November as one evaluation tool in Dr. Joanne Duffy’s new grand: “Quality Caring in Acute Care”.
