CUA Nursing Master's Programs Ranked in Top 40
Pediatric Nurse Pracitioner Program Ranked 10th
CUA nursing master’s programs overall are ranked 40th among approximately 350 accredited master’s programs nationwide. The rankings were included in U.S. News & World Report’s 2008 Edition of America’s Best Graduate Schools that were released early Friday morning.
The specialty rankings earned by the pediatric nurse practitioner program is based on nominations from deans, faculty and other administrators at peer institutions who responded to U.S. News & World Report surveys about particular programs.
“We are delighted that U.S. News & World Report has once again recognized our Master of Science in Nursing program as among the top programs nationally,” said Nalini Jairath, dean of nursing. “To have our master’s program ranked 40th and our pediatric nurse practitioner program ranked 10th is indeed an honor in an increasingly competitive world.”
The CUA pediatric nurse practitioner program prepares graduates to provide family-centered primary care to healthy children and adolescents as well as those with serious and chronic health conditions in settings that include clinics, schools, hospitals and private medical practices.
