Objectives of the Latino Nursing Opportunities Program
The objectives are the Latino Nursing Opportunities Program are:
- Create a structured pre-entry nursing program primarily for Hispanic students in grades 7 to 12.
- Help faculty build and update cultural competencies and skills in mentoring, advising and teaching students.
- Increase retention of Hispanic B.S.N. students through a comprehensive program at The Catholic University of America.
