Geriatric Nurse Practitioner

The Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program was designde to reflect the national health care trends and to prepare nurses to serve America's aging population.
This program meets the nursing practitioner guidelines of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) Advanced Nursing Practice: Curriculum Guidelines and Program Standard for Nurse Practitioner Edication and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Upon completion of course requirements, graduate of the master's and post-master's programs are eligible to sit for American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Nurse Practitioner and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) GNP Certification Exam. |
