Greetings from the Associate Dean

Dear Prospective Students, Alumni, and Web Site Visitors:

Welcome to our home page! This has been an exciting year for Graduate Programs in the School of Nursing. We continue to offer excellent programs that prepare our graduates as clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, community experts, administrators and educators. Additionally, our PhD Program continues to thrive. We are so very proud of our faculty, students and support personnel.

As a new member of the CUA family, some of you may not be acquainted with my background. Prior to coming to this position, I was Acting Associate Dean at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Graduate School of Nursing. While at USUHS, I also served as the Chair for the Department of Nurse Practitioners. Earlier in my career I was on the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. In addition to my administrative activities I am a women's health nurse practitioner and an attorney.

I hope that all of you will feel free to come by so that we can get acquainted.

Dr. Patricia McMullen

Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
