 Teresa Walsh, PhD, MSN, RN, NE-BC

Currently, Dr. Teresa (Terry) Walsh serves as the Assistant Dean of Evaluation and International Outreach at The Catholic University of America (CUA) in the School of Nursing (Washington, D.C.)  Dr. Walsh obtained her MS degree at the University Of Maryland School Of Nursing and her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The Catholic University of America.

Dr. Walsh is an Assistant Professor at CUA in the School of Nursing and has previously been the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Nursing, a position in which she resided for 5 years.  Over the course of her career, Dr. Walsh has been a Director of Nursing in a local community hospital, a Clinical Data Analyst examining quality benchmarking metrics in an acute setting, and a quality expert for the American College of Cardiology.  Dr. Walsh is a member of the D.C. Board of Nursing Committee on Impaired Nurses and remains current in her practice as a part time Administrative Coordinator at a local acute care hospital.
