Dr. Selway holds a B.S.N. from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland as well as an M.S.N. and a post-masters certificate from the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She received her Doctor of Nursing Science degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, where she also completed a business of nursing certificate. Both an adult and pediatric nurse practitioner, Dr. Selway has held a number of primary care positions in both clinics and schools. Further, she has held clinical appointments at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems, Shock Trauma Center. Presently, Dr. Selway is the principal investigator on a grant that provides interdisciplinary education in geriatric health care.
